Curriculum
At Paragon Kids, we offer a nature-based approach to Early Childhood Education that invites curiosity, exploration, and meaningful learning. Our environments are intentionally designed to bring elements of the natural world indoors, supporting children as they engage with their surroundings, their peers, and their own ideas. Through an Emergent Curriculum, learning unfolds in response to children’s interests, fostering creativity, confidence, and a genuine love of learning.
A central focus of our program is the development of emotional intelligence (EQ). We place equal importance on intrapersonal and interpersonal skills, recognizing that both are essential to a child’s growth.
Intrapersonal skills support self-awareness, emotional regulation, and a developing sense of identity. These skills help children approach challenges with resilience and confidence. Interpersonal skills guide how children relate to others through communication, cooperation, listening, and problem-solving. Together, these capacities support strong relationships and thoughtful engagement within a group.

Behaviour Guidance
We recognize that every interaction with a child shapes how they learn, grow, and understand the world around them. Guided by the principle of treating others as we ourselves would wish to be treated, we approach each child with respect and care, honouring their unique qualities, cultures, strengths, and interests.
Our mission is to support the development of confident, secure children who feel safe to explore both their inner world and their relationships with others. As children navigate new environments and social experiences, they encounter moments that, when thoughtfully supported, build essential skills such as empathy, motivation, self-awareness, and self-regulation.
Our Educators are trained to observe and respond to each child’s individual cues, offering guidance through conflict when needed, while also recognizing when to step back and allow children the opportunity to practice problem-solving and conflict resolution independently.
Yoga & Meditation
Children engage in daily mindful breathing and meditation practices, along with weekly yoga and meditation sessions. These practices align with our core values and our commitment to supporting the development of children’s emotional intelligence.
Through regular participation, children strengthen skills such as attention, self-regulation, body awareness, and coordination, while also building confidence and a sense of calm. These practices support children in developing the tools they need to recognize their emotions, regulate their responses, and engage more thoughtfully with their environment and peers.
Our Classrooms
Paragon Kids Inc. places strong importance on the role of nature in children’s learning and well-being, intentionally bringing the outdoors into our classrooms. Our environments are designed using neutral, nature-inspired tones and incorporate live plants throughout the centre, creating a calm and inviting atmosphere.
Children actively participate in caring for the plants, supporting early learning in science, environmental awareness, and responsibility. Research shows that indoor plants can contribute to improved air quality, increased oxygen levels, and greater focus and attentiveness.
Each classroom is thoughtfully designed with both children and educators in mind, with careful attention given to every detail. Our purpose-built centre provides a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment where children are encouraged to play, explore, make mistakes, get messy, and grow.
